Legal aid changes from 31st March 2013

As from 31st March 2013, legal aid will no longer be available for most family disputes, including divorce and financial matters, co-habitation problems and issues relating to children, such as residence and contact.
So, if you need help with a family matter and want to apply for legal aid, you need to act now. Don’t leave it until the last minute; it can take time to process a legal aid application and you may miss out.

Inghams supports domestic abuse crackdown

A CAMPAIGN has been launched to tackle domestic violence on the Fylde coast.
Those who work with abuse victims pledged their support to the White Ribbon campaign at a conference organised by Fylde Coast Women’s Aid (FCWA).
The campaign is aimed at getting people across the world to sign a petition condemning those who commit domestic abuse against women.
